EDUCATION & COMMUNITY

Led by Richard Baker
and the Baker House Team

Richard Baker has spent forty years and assembled over 100 million square feet learning how real estate is actually built. Baker House exists to pass that on — teaching deal sourcing, capital structure, operations, and the human side of entrepreneurship to people who weren’t born into the business.

At its center is a restored mansion on Cornell’s campus — a clubhouse, member apartments, and programmed event spaces built for one purpose: to teach entrepreneurship through gatherings, instruction, and the relationships that form when entrepreneurs share the same roof.

Lisa and Richard Baker are the benefactors of the Baker Program in Real Estate at Cornell University.

The physical Baker House opens August 1, 2027 on Cornell University’s campus in Ithaca, NY. Digital membership is free and available now.

THE MANSION

The Club

A learning & living community

The Baker House mansion will include a private restaurant, full bar, social lounge, gym, and Nordic-style spa. A working creative studio — built for jewelry, ceramics, painting, and cooking — gives members a place to build with their hands and sharpen their entrepreneurial mind. Overnight rooms and suites accommodate members and guests visiting Cornell. Every detail of the club is designed to build community, forge partnerships, and give entrepreneurs the tools they need to execute.

RESIDENTIAL

The Apartments

A hub for entrepreneurial-minded students

Baker House offers dedicated undergraduate housing and graduate student housing, amenitized for each stage of education.

Both have access to entrepreneurs in-residence, shared meals, guest speakers, and programming designed to build community, source deals, and develop the relationships that define a career.

Opens August 1, 2027. Pre-register now; applications for Cornell students and alumni open January 2027.
